Nail Polish Favourites

L-R :  Models Own - Sophie's Pink, Topshop - Gypsy Night, Models Own - Pink Fizz, Essie - Fiji, Models Own - Sterling Silver

I spent a lot of my time ignoring the 'no nail polish' rule at work in favour of buying lots of nail polish. I tend to go through phases where I wear the same colour non-stop for a while. I thought I'd do a post showcasing some of my favourites, whether they be old favourites or new comers.

First up is Models Own's Sophie's Pink. I'm pretty sure this is the first Models Own polish I purchased, around almost two years ago now. I love a good bright pink and I just think this shade is perfect. I need another one, but I can never seem to find this shade in store, and I've yet to get round to ordering it online.

I bought Gypsy Night from Topshop a few weeks ago as I had yet to own a black polish. I love the flecks of glitter in it and I think it'll be a favourite Winter polish. Unfortunately it takes quite a few coats to get it opaque, and when applied it seems to be more of a grey/brown than black as I'd hoped.

Models Own Pink Fizz is my favourite glitter polish. I love a good glitter polish and the colour of this one is great. Plus if I wear it as a glitter top coat, it keeps chipping at bay for a lot longer. Let's just not go into how long it takes to remove.

Essie's Fiji is the perfect colour in my eyes, and one I was searching for forever. Not quite nude, not quite pink, not quite white. It's the perfect shade for any season, and looks great with any skin tone! It's just a shame about the 'streaky' application.

I don't think Models Own Sterling Silver is actually anything special, yet it seems to be one I reach for quite a bit. It applies really well and although I tend to apply two coats, you can get away with just one. I was never really a fan of silver polishes until this one. I'm not sure what it is, but there's just something I seem to really like about it.

Obviously my favourite nail polishes change every now and then, but these are a few of my firm favourites that I go back to a lot.
