Tartan Leggings

I very nearly didn't post this. I'm getting really fed up of my outfit posts lately. Maybe it's the location,(my garden isn't the most exciting of places) or the fact that I'm not the most comfortable in front of a camera, but something isn't working. Despite this, I really really like these leggings and felt it very important that I share them.

Speaking of leggings, I think I have a problem. A few years ago, if you'd have asked me to wear a pair of leggings, I'd have laughed in your face. I used to despise them, especially if they weren't worn with a long enough top. Two years later and I can't get enough of them. Super cosy (always top on my list of priorities) and can be worn with a wide variety of jumpers. I now own around 5 or 6 pairs and love them all equally. This lovely pair is from Topshop and I think we're going to be very good friends. I've also fallen a little in love with this beautiful necklace from Ever Ours. I bought two others but this one is definitely my favourite.

I'm planning on putting together a recent purchases/haul type post. I've bought a few nice bits recently and want to get round to sharing them with you. Problem is I really dislike trying to photograph clothes. It would all be good if I was willing to foray into youtube, so much easier but so much scarier. Not quite sure I see it happening any time soon.

Cold noses

Coat - Zara
Dress - Primark
Jumper - Primark
Scarf - Next
Boots - Topshop

It's definitely no longer warm enough to be outside without a coat. The things I do for outfit posts!
This Next tartan scarf definitely isn't thick enough to keep me warm, but I'd wanted a tartan one for a while. I actually spotted this one in the Next men's section. If fact, I think most of my scarves hail from men's departments.

I spent today picking up things for little DIY I have planned for my friends for  Christmas. I'll post some pictures at some point hopefully. I'm now typing this in a chilly kitchen with a very cold nose.

It's now one month 'til Christmas and the excitement it slowly creeping up on me. Five more days and I get to open door number one on my Boots advent calendar. I've never been a fan of the chocolate offerings, so I'm looking forward to getting a little beauty something every day!

May suggest there's somwhere from which I might know her, just to get the ball to roll.

Coat - Zara
Skirt - River Island
Top - Topshop

This week has seen an influx of pretty clothing related packages. I fell in love with this skirt when I saw  Becky post about the blue one. It's a happy coincidence that the colours go perfectly with my new Zara coat. At £29.99 I just couldn't pass it up. I'm not used to wearing longer coats, and as I'm rather short I feel a bit swamped in this, but with a pair of heeled boots I think it looks ok.

Obviously I put a pair of tights on when actually going out in this outfit. I just thought the pastels looked a lot prettier against skin than black tights.

Also apologies for the blurry photos, my camera just did not feel like focusing properly this morning. I also need to stop with the super long AM post titles, I just can't help myself at the moment.

Hope you all have lovely weekends. I've now got a week off work which is exciting, I've not had a whole week off since last summer!

Pyjamas & Lace

Trousers - Zara
Top - H&M
Shoes - Zara

I love pyjamas. If it was acceptable to wear them all day everyday, I would. Sadly it isn't, so these pyjama style trousers are right up my street. They're ridiculously comfy, which is always a plus, and they were part of my bid to add some more colour to my wardrobe.

I bought the wedges in Zara a few months back. I love them, but I'm finding it a little tricky to walk in them, something that never usually happens with wedges! I'm hoping they'll do for a night out Saturday, I'd rather not be falling over all evening.

I'm off to Bristol this weekend with my friend and I've spent most of my evening trying to figure out my new satnav. I'm sure they're not meant to me so confusing, but I just couldn't get my head round it. Wish us luck getting there!

School Shirts

Shirt - Zara
Jeans - American Apparel
Boots - Topshop
Necklace - H&M

I drafted this post a week or so ago, then totally forgot to publish it. I'm finding it a little tricky to fit blogging in around work at the moment, which is sad as work is driving me mad. Thankfully I'm off to Barcelona next week for a little mini trip. I'm praying for some lovely sunshine.

Whilst this top may make my top half look massive/like I'm trying to hide someone under it, it is so comfy. I bought it from Zara a few weeks back and it's become one of my most worn items since. The colour reminds me a little of school shirts, and when I've worn it my friends have commented that I look like I'm off to work/school. Once again it's paired with my trusty AA jeans, because truthfully, when do I wear anything else?
