Let's talk about scents

Perfume is a tricky one to talk about via a blog. Unless you've smelt the perfume before, it's often hard to get an idea of what someone is actually talking about. Regardless of this, I'm going to go for it anyway.

I've been on the hunt for a new perfume for a few months now. Whilst I have quite the collection, I've not really worn perfume, apart from on evenings out, for a good few months now. None of the ones I own are working for me anymore, and I miss smelling nice!
My top three perfumes are definitely summer fragrances. There's something about fresh, coconutty scents that I'm always drawn to. The first of this category is J Lo Miami Glow. I first bought it when I was about 13. It was inexpensive and perfect for summer. Fast forward 7 years and it's still one of my favourites. It was actually discontinued for a while but, a couple of Christmases ago my friend bought it for me. It's beautifully fruity and if you fancy all the details, read more about it here.

The other two, which I adore, are Gwen Stefani's G (once again, another discontinued one) and Estée Lauder Bronze Goddess. Both very similar to the above, and both perfect for the summer months. The problem is, whilst these are my favourite scents, they aren't really the best ones to wear any time before May or after September. It just doesn't feel right. Which leads me onto everything else.
All these fragrances are ones I absolutely loved at the time, yet hardly ever wear any more. I wore Vera Wang Princess for around 4 years straight, but I'm really not a fan of the smell any more. I picked up Marc Jacobs Lola in New York last year, but I now find it far too heavy for day time wear. Miss Dior Cherie had a good run, but once again, I just don't love it anymore.

This is where you come in. If anyone can suggest a perfume that I might like, which can be worn for Autumn/Winter, you'd be my saviour. I find it hard to let go of my summery scents, and I need pushing in the right direction.
