About as subtle as an earthquake, I know, my mistakes were made for you.

Only three days after my last post, I seem to have found a tiny bit of motivation. The motivation comes in the form of this beautiful ASOS dress. Smock dress? Check! Gingham? Check! (excuse the pun). If I hadn't been working all weekend, this is definitely what I would have worn to enjoy the sun. Sadly as I spent most of the sunny hours making coffee, this dress was reserved for Sunday evening eating monster munch.

The sun may have made an appearance this weekend, but I still don't think my legs are ready for the light of day. Or rather, the light of day isn't ready for my legs, they're so pasty I'd say they almost look a little grey. I think I might be clinging onto the tights for a little longer.

Another ASOS order

Coat(igan) - ASOS
Jumper - ASOS
Skirt - Topshop

If there's a few things I've learnt from this outfit post it that: 1. I need to figure out something new do to with my hair. 2. The word coatigan really does make me cringe and 3. My obsession with checks/tartan is getting as out of hand as my obsession with florals circa 2009. Believe me, it was bad.

Despite all these things, this beautiful checked beauty is definitely a new favourite addition to my wardrobe. It's definitely not thick enough to keep me warm once the real cold sets in. For now though, paired with a nice chunky scarf, it is perfect.

Now need to go and warm myself up with a nice cup of tea and a pack of magic stars, which have been calling me for a good hour now.

Call off the search for your soul, or put it on hold again.

Dress - ASOS
Boots - H&M
Jumper - Primark

It's official. I have a new favourite dress! I bought this beauty on one of my weekly ASOS splurges (these are become far too frequent of late) and fell in love.

I've toyed with pinafore dresses in the past but never found one that I really really like until now. I love the patterned pocket at the front, plus it's a really good length. I've received quite a few compliments from friends too, which is never a bad thing.  I've worn it a lot since it arrived and teamed it with jumpers, t-shirts, jackets, heels, flat shoes.. The list goes on.

I didn't actually notice how creased it was until I uploaded these pictures, so I'm going to get myself to an iron stat!

Daisy Daisy

Dress - ASOS
Top - ASOS
Shoes - Topshop

When I saw this ASOS daisy dress, I fell in love immediately. There's something about daisies that I can't resist. Daisy print clothes, daisy jewellery, daisy anything.

It's advertised as a midi dress but, with my super short legs, it's more like an 'almost maxi'. I contemplated taking it up a little, then decided that (even with wonder web) I'm far too lazy.
I paired this with my ever faithful ASOS top and the Topshop shoes I've worn in nearly every outfit post for the last month or so.

Right now I'm meant to be getting ready for work. I have to leave in 10 minutes, so this was obviously the time to start typing up a blog post. Have wonderful Fridays!

Been wondering if your heart's still open and if so I wanna know what time it shuts.

Dress - ASOS
Boots - Topshop (sale)

It should be no secret by now that I love elephants. Combine that with my new found love for smock dresses, and I think we've found perfection. In dress form anway.

I spotted this dress after already having placed a large ASOS order. Luckily a few things ended up getting returned, and this dress turned up in their place. In hindsight I wish I'd ordered a 6. This is much larger than the previous smock dress I bought from ASOS. But hey ho, I'm too lazy so I'll just look like I'm wearing a sack forever more.

I feel like I've been pretty absent from my blog lately. Obviously I needed a few days to be extremely excited about Arctic Monkeys impending new album (please all be ridiculously excited with me). I am so jealous of anyone at Glastonbury this week.

I don't often write about my personal life on here. It's not intentional, there's just never much going on. However, I recently broke up with my boyfriend of almost 3 and a half years, and I'm really not sure how I feel about it. I bet no one even knew I had a boyfriend. I don't think I ever mentioned him on here, let alone twitter or instagram! Its sad, and I'm still hoping things turn out for the better, but he'd still one of my best friends, so I'm sure everything will be ok.

Small insight into my life over. It was so warm whilst I was outside taking these photos, I just wish we could have a proper summer already. I'm in desperate need of a real holiday, but I really doubt that's going to happen until next summer now. Someone bring us some sun!
