My Winter Wardrobe

Way back in the Summer (what does that feel like again?) I posted about my personal style, and the other day I started thinking about how that changes from season to season. How the things that I like - hello breton stripes and grey jumpers - end up varying slightly from season to season. So today I'm having a little chat about the items that have been firm favourites this winter.

My absolute bargain of a Zara coat. I picked this up last year for a mere £30 I think? It was around that mark and it's by far my favourite coat. Along with being so versatile, it's in my favourite colour and it's warm too.

My Topshop Leigh Jeans. I used to be a firm believer in high waisted jeans, American Apparell's Easy Jeans being my go-to. However, this year, I decided to ditch the high waists for the super soft comfort of the Leigh jeans. I own them in a fair few colours, but my favourites my far are the black.

My H&M Jumper. I bought this jumper on a whim at the begging of December, and I've not looked back since. Seriously. I love the colour, I love the shape and it's comfy. Comfort is a must all the time, but most importantly in the winter.

A Line Skirts. So I couldn't pick just one, but I've been loving A Line skirts this winter. My favourites being this Topshop offering and my beloved Zara dogtooth number. I also caved and treated myself to that suede ASOS skirt last weekend.

My Whistles Chain Bag. The Whistles Rivington Bag had been in my saved ASOS items for a good year or so, before I finally allowed myself to purchase it back in November. I'm so glad I did as it fits so much more in than I'd expected. It's just the perfect 'go with anything' bag. Maybe a little on the pricey side, but it was £64 (hello ASOS discounts) well spent.

My Grey Scarf. I can't seem to find this online anymore, but my very big, very cosy grey scarf has barely left my neck this winter.

My Chelsea Boots. I entered AW14 with my trusty Dune chelsea boots in tow. They're now into their second year of wear and, bar the odd bit of dirt that won't budge (that's what happens when you wear them to AM Finsbury Park in the rain), they're still in top condition.
